Taylor Swift
Recently while reading the Billboard’s top artists of 2009, Taylor swift was dubbed number one. I feel that Taylor did in fact deserve a spot in the top twenty artists, but did she deserve number one? I would disagree.
Taylor’s music is enjoyed by all types of people. It is classified as country, pop, acoustic, and many other genres. At twenty years old she writes and plays her own music, which is an accomplishment to anyone. “You belong with me” is personally my favorite song by Taylor. The lyrics tell a story and it doesn’t sound like every other song played on the radio. Although, I do enjoy listening to a few of her songs, there is someone else more deserving of this top spot. Lady Gaga.
